Good grief. What to do? There is something very wrong with Fluffy - First and Only are one of ASCUK's supporters!
Phoenix haven't suffered one jot from being kicked off ASCOCK.
ASCUK lost all of the WW2 traffic to our site when they 'closed' the forum so folk moved straight over instead of posting on both forums!
That and there heavy handed moderation (or bullying as i think its more widely known) means that many folk cannot or will not post there as they have been banned or know their posts will be ridiculed or edited.
I cant believe i gave them money to keep going....

Er - can I ask that we refrain from further discussion with them about this ? We all know how it will end ,esp with their ego's etc , be better just to let it lie and carry on as we were.
TBH I can see their point , some of the posts (not by any of us) have said - this place is shit use CiA instead, which if it happended here say with PD promoting PST we would get pissed off about as well .
ASSCOCK will die a death in it's own good time, nothing we can say will hasten that , and it's still more usefull to us to have a presence . There is no point starting a war there, we cannot win .
You'll notice in my posts Guy that I'm trying to be the politest, nicest person there.
We'll see what happens... If they discuss it politely then I will continue... if they start raving... then I will stop. They will be the ones to throw the first stone.

I've pointed this thread out to F&O staff as well... They've read my posts, no response as yet. I assume something is going to happen in the background... hence I will not be putting my all in. Not that it seems to make any difference...
The mods at ascuk are just proving that they don't care about anything or anybody other than themselves. There's absolutely no point in arguing with them. They know they're in the wrong but refuse to accept it. Nothing we can say will change this... Perhaps F&O staff can change their minds... but who knows.

oh I saw them... I was going to say the same thing at some point.... but only as a last resort... As a "loyal" ASCUK supporter and user for the last 4 years and someone that Beaker does know personally I expected a lot better treatment than we've been getting with this one.
Hence why I've concluded that there's nothing we can do directly.
BTW... I suggest just keeping schtum on this one... don't pm them and don't post publicly... all that will achieve is to get you banned... Its been proven many times that that approach just doesn't work.
I'm hoping that F&O will put some pressure on about it.
Perhaps also Josh at Gunman could be asked to help?
